Is there a website that lists major repairs to the main Engines of broken down ships.
EG, a friend of my was on a vessel where they cut through the main connecting rods to the upper piston of a Doxford with a HACKSAW took them 8days.
I myself was on the MV Trevelyen(hains) when we had to strip down and remetal the main Thrust block just to get to Jamaica.
This is the sort of thing I am looking for.
Can anyone Help please reply to my E Mail directly Thanks Reg Sheard
