Sadly NZ is no longer the place it was, but is anywhere? The constant drive for profit above people, six day weeks, long hours, the breakdown of the family and increasing drug use have all contributed to a lesser place. The gutless Government doesn't help either, with the victims being ignored and the crims getting light sentences. We can't put the clock back, but we really need some backbone in our politicians, who seem to be focussed on pigging out in the parliamentary trough above service to the people who elected them. I stiil love the place though and have hope, the optimist who always sees a half full glass!
