Subject: Well I was sitting in an auditorium for my god-daughter's high school graduation earlier this summer when a man and his young son (about 3 or 4) took an empty seat next to me. I noticed the child as he walked by, our eyes met and I smiled at him. A few minutes later I noticed out of the corner of my eye that he was staring at me - so I looked at him and smiled a hello. There was a lull in the proceedings so it was very quiet when the child touched me on the arm and said in a very clear high pitched voice that carried for several rows... "You're not a lady!!" So, how is everyone elce's summer going?
