Subject: Me again

Well, I'm still here (in case anyone was wondering). I've been fighting a really bad chest cold, and I don't have any energy because of it.

I haven't been eating enough because of being sick, and what I have been eating has been a little higher in carbs. As soon as I recover the rest of the way, I'll buckle down a little harder again. I crave fruit when I'm sick, and there haven't been any good berries at the store, so I've been eating cantelope (at least it wasn't bananas!).

I hit my all-time low again on Saturday (232), but it's gone again now. I know that infections really do a number on your weight, so I'm weighing just to make sure that I'm not doing any damage, but I don't really care too much about seeing lower numbers right now.

Because I re-inducted a couple of weeks ago, it's normal for me to be in the post-induction stall anyway. So I'm telling myself that that's why I'm still this weight (instead of blaming the cantelope).

My SO insisted on buying a jar of peanut butter last week, and I'm sure that isn't helping either. It's not as bad as bags of Oreos, but it sure isn't something that I can stay away from. Last night I gave him the jar and told him to keep it away from me.

An hour later, the baby walked up to me with the jar and a spoon (he loves peanut butter and doesn't like bread so he eats it the same way I do), and I ended up eating more peanut butter with him. I thought it was really cute when the baby learned where the silverware was, and got tall enough to get stuff off the counter, but right now I'm not so sure that's a good thing.

Have a great LC day, everyone!
