I've looked at the CKD diet board before and considered it too. It is a little scary though how many carbs they have you eating on the weekends. I'm not sure that would be good for a person. I understand the theory etc, but that part of it always made me nervous. Do you think you could eat that way two days of the week and still stay in control the rest of the time? For me that would be difficult. Once I start 'cheating' it sometimes takes me a long time to get back on track. Of course you wouldn't look at it as cheating if that was your plan, but I'm not sure that subtle difference would help with my carb addicted state.

On the other hand I tried to do the Body for Life workout this morning. Whew! I'm not sure I can do that much. I didn't have near the stamina I would like to have (today anyway), and even just doing one of the excercises the way he says to do them was a bit much for me. I'm not even sure how I will do the others his way. For instance he says to rest one minute before increasing the weights and doing the next set. How can you rest if you are busy changing the value of your free weights? I suppose if you were using dumbbells (and had a lot of the premade ones around), you could just grab a different set. But for my bench press, that bar isn't all that quickly changed to a different value.

If I'm going to do this, I'm going to have to practice awhile first. Figure out some new methods of doing things (especially since I work out in my basement).
