Subject: Fruit

I've seen some talk about fruit lately and which ones are the "best". When I started the diet I only looked at the total carb count of everything, but as time went on I devised a way of "sorting" my food, especially fruit. The way I sorted the food was a method of my making that you may or may not agree with. I've posted it on the resources page here:

Let me know if it helps, basically I've ranked food by nutritionaly count verses carbohydrates that I would "spend" if I were to eat them. I used to list everything. I was so desperate to lose weight I would spend hours planning out how long I would have to diet and how much I would weigh on any given day if I stuck to the plan. So far the low carb diet is the only one that has come close to those plans.

Today is Amy's birthday! Ugh, I am not ready to admit that my daughter is 16 years old. I took her driving last night and it's just not fair how grown up she looks. We won't be having the party until Friday night. About 20 teens with a multi-colored theme, neon lights all over the backyard and me trying not to "get in the way". he he
