Let's see. I eat from stress, being tired, feeling unappreciated, as a reward, as punishment, and for too many other reasons for me even to think of.

A lot of people are very successful at weight loss and very unsuccessful at weight maintenance. I think the fact that you are learning to control your impulses as you lose weight will be a significant part of your success in keeping it off when you reach maintenance. I think that a very important part of losing weight is the behaviour modification piece, which too many people fail to take into consideration. If you don't learn new behaviours, you may lose all your weight, but how will you keep it off?

Kel, keep doing this at your own pace. As you learn new reactions to stress, you'll lose weight, BUT more importantly you will learn how to keep it off.

{{{Hugs, sis}}} You're doing great!!!
