I know where you're at with that one. Certain times of the month my body seems to get just hungrier and hungrier, and the right foods won't satisfy it either.

I was thinking about treasures yesterday (just briefly I pushed the idea away really quickly). I feel pretty upbeat in the mornings, but midday somedays just get so stressful and annoying.

I've got this new guy working with me. He's supposed to have years and years of experience at fixing TVs (though not projection TVs). I think I'm SUPPOSED to be learning from the guy, but so far he hasn't taught me much, and lately it seems like he doesn't know much more about the problems we are having with the TVs than I do. (Plus he asks me questions that I have no answer for).

Not only that, but he constantly interupts me. If I'm trying to accomplish something on my own (and there is little enough it seems that I can do on my own), he interupts with "Do we have paperwork for this?" or "Can we put this TV on a cart?" or some other thing that requires I stop what I'm doing to try and solve his problem. Today I decided to try and make him a little more independant, and told him to call and order a part. He interupted what I was doing to show him how to use the phone.

It is extremely frustrating. Plus he doesn't go to lunch, and he leaves around 3, so I've been staying through my lunch time to try and get some benefit from whatever he has to teach. So I haven't been going to lunch, the day gets late and it seems silly to go when I will be off work in a short while anyway.

Well at least I'm not eating too much. But not eating enough is a problem too. Anyway, Yes I understand where you are coming from. Sometimes stress and frustration and hormones just make me want to go out and have something I shouldn't eat.

But so far I haven't given in. I've been very strong this month, hope to continue it thru to the end of June at least.

Not sure what will happen though as cravings start to set in closer to TOM.

  • I think another part of it is psychological. We have such great expectations of what we will be when we reach our goal weight. Even though we hate being "fat", this is what we know and it is our "comfort zone". I think so much of this is being able to create new comfort zones for ourselves. I know that I have a lot of issues with getting attention from men that affect my ability to keep losing. (NT) -- Katie, 09:10:36 06/20/02 Thu
