Subject: Sounds so wonderful Sandy. Glad you enjoyed your little road trip. I've been wanting to drive up the coast and finally decided I'd like to visit Solvang. I've never been there. Googled a map for it. Its about 132 miles away which should take about 2 1/2 hours to get there according to the map. Son and I are planning to go there tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Just hope the kitties behave themselves. They've been a little pissy today.
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Some weekend when we have more time, I'd love to go back out and make this drive again, especially since we drive through the very small town of Alma, which has it's own creamery and makes cheese that's sold by a lot of the local markets. And fantastic cheese it is! We ended up working our way back to I-70 and coming home that way but all in all, we were gone for about 4 hours. Just a perfect way to spend a perfect day. It was sunny with only puffy white clouds and low humidity. We both came home grinning." on 9:22:12 am, Mon, 06/04/07
