Subject: First of all, I have to remember that the computer, much like the phone, is just a tool and when it interferes with your life, turn it off and walk away. (Punkie's always telling me that just because the phone rings doesn't mean I *have* to answer it). Same thing for the computer and message boards. I was trying to do something good and do someone a favor.......and someone else took offense and got mad. Ya know, just grow up!! There are times when life sucks enough without getting into it with people you only know on the computer. Or ---- even if you've met them before, these people really don't impact the day-to-day running of your life. So just don't give them that power. Anyway, I'm feeling much better now and more balanced.
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Hi, Vicki, and yes, I'm here. Just taking a much needed break from the computer. I got stabbed in the back again by someone just like.......well, you know! Was so mad last Thursday and Friday and finally talked it over with Gerry, who said I did nothing wrong. But I was still in a foul mood and didn't need to spread that around. Then my girlfriend in SC called. She's got her own set of huge problems so I hadn't talked with her in about a month but we found a time when we could chat. Almost two hours of talk later and my mood brightened considerably. I just laid the entire situation out for her and asked for her feedback." on 6:42:48 am, Fri, 06/22/07
