just this week I dropped long distance from my land line, because we use our cells for all of our long distance calls. Well today I needed to make a call and it got me to thinking, does Verizon have directory assistance? ouch..that is a bit pricy....but like you said, if you really need the number then it is definitely worth it....I know I get charged from my land line phone company too when you call directory assistance....I'm not sure how much, but I don't think it's quite this hefty...
