I've been meaning to post about this for several weeks now. With the end of school this year, Travis starts middle school this fall. And my God, where has the time gone? It's just not possible that he'll be 13 on Halloween and a 7th grader. Anyway, his class put together a DVD, set to music, that shows the kids in his class and how they've grown and changed over the past 7 years. The parents were allowed to submit up to 3 photos of their child during school activities and the like. The ending segment is titled "Look How We've Changed." The pictures are then shown, side by side, of each child, one taken early in their school years and the other, a current picture. -- Piggy's Pad

Of course, Punkie got a copy of this DVD and she gave it to us so we could copy it. Neither one of us (and even Gerry) can watch it without crying. He's grown so much and the time has gone by so darn fast. This is part of the reason I rarely watch the videos we have of Travis from the time he was born. I end up sobbing. But I got such a kick out of the final picture that Punkie submitted of Travis. Instead of turning in his yearly school picture, she got a picture of Travis holding Topper. Oh how wonderful Sandy!! What a great idea for his school to have this kind of project for the kids....this will be a special keepsake for you and Gerry and for Punkie and Travis for years to come.....
