In reply to: ~love and hugs~ 's message, "Please keep the human family's of Ruby Jean and Deuceez in your thoughts and prayers. Warning, tear jerkers inside..............." on 7:51:24 pm, Tue, 07/03/07

Little Ruby Jean (isn't that a beautiful name?) is a little kitten no more than about 8 weeks old. She wandered into a clients yard and her two dogs attacked her. She had a broken pelvis (saw the x-ray, broken right in half) with also a hernia and her blood level was low with a very poor chance of surviving. The owner was hoping she had enough fight in her but her injuries were too critical so she elected to release her to the bridge.

That was this morning. Then early afternoon another client brought in their new puppy who was attacked by their other dog. Unfortunately this little one had died before she made it to us. Let me tell you about her. Deuceez, a pomeranian came into our office yesterday for a check up. Oh, what a precious little girl. I walked around with her showing her off to everybody. She was a big hit with everyone. Only weighed 1.45 pounds. Precious, precious baby.

Well, this morning, some family members had her in the backyard with Lance, their 5 year old lab. They weren't paying full attention to the dogs. When little Deuceez went for her new brofur's ball, he grabbed her puncturing her jugular (sp.) vein. That killed her within seconds. We were all crying.

After her humans left I held her and gave her a kiss. Please say a prayer for the grief their humans are going through. Ruby Jean didn't even belong to Cindy. She had wandered in her yard. I told Cindy God would bless her dearly for helping this little one.

Two tragedies today. Thats the one thing I really hate about where I work. Sorry to get graphic with you all. Needed to tell someone. Thank you for your prayers.

~love and hugs~
Raylene =^..^=
