Over a pound in just two weeks??!! Wow!! Yep, that's a good amount of weight to gain in that short a length of time, especially since you didn't change her food habits. It's too bad that you have to wait until Monday for the results on her blood test. But I think it's a great testament to you as a good, observant owner that you caught the subtle changes in Maggie's behavior so quickly and got her in for more blood work. Now to just wait and see what's going on. And I'm sure that, now that you have Maggie back home again, she's going to forgive and forget quickly. Dr. Lee took blood and will get back to me on Monday with the results...and we are cutting her dosage in half until then....
She thought she looked well, but was kind of surprised, Maggie gained 1.1 lbs in two weeks.....she didn't exactly come right out and say it, but she seemed to think that was quite a bit of weight, especially since we have not given her any more than her usual amounts...." on 7:30:53 am, Fri, 03/21/08

I almost don't mind waiting until Monday for the blood test results as long as I can start cutting her dose tomorrow....if I had to wait until then to cut back on the pills, then I really wouldn't be very happy....
