Update on Molly Ann. I took her to vet tonight and just got home my sister took me. She has a slight heart mumer, a fever of 103 which that isn't good at all, They check every thing else and every thing turn out ok. Her white count was up a little. (msg) -- Piggy's Pad

Subject: Update on Molly Ann. I took her to vet tonight and just got home my sister took me. She has a slight heart mumer, a fever of 103 which that isn't good at all, They check every thing else and every thing turn out ok. Her white count was up a little. (msg)

The vet has put her on two pills one antibiotics, and a appertizer one (this one I give to her at night time), The other one is durning the day and if I remember right at night time also I have to relook again. Then she gave me a streygine (sp) some thing like that to fill water up with to help her get the pills down. I'm so thankful to live with my mom she helped me pill her tonight. I'm going to see if I can do it tomorrow. The vet said if she not eating by tomorrow then I will have to bring her in and hospitalize her. She wanted to do a thyroid test but she thought that Molly Ann had enough blood drawn tonight. So far she has ate tonight which I'm so happy about. I found out that she is 14 1/2 years old and I always thought she was like 10 or 12 years old. I will kept everyone updated.

So glad you got her to the vet! I don't know what you feed her but maybe some canned cat food would help get her to eat? Did the vet check her teeth? When they have teeth problems they can go off food too. The canned would help if that was the case too. Hope the pilling goes easy. Some cats can be a real pain about it. Denise I tried wet food before for her and she didn't care for it at all. I told the vet that. She said to upgrade her food. I been feeding her GoodLife food. So now when I go grocery shopping I have to get her IAM's cat food. But she said to keep this other food still if she doesn't like the new brand of food. Vet told me that she has lost lot of weigh. I'd even go better than Iams food. Go to a pet supply place and get something like Natural Balance, California Natural, Innova....A good one for picky cats is Royal Canin Special, can't miss it, purple bag. It's for sensitive and finiky cats. (NT) -- Denise, 3:51:44 pm, Wed, 03/26/08
