I sure hope the meds help your Maggie....don't feel bad that you didn't notice her belly....you said she isn't a cuddly kitty....that makes it harder sometimes to see what is going on....I'm glad Spike is doing better...how old are the two of them now? -- Piggy's Pad

In reply to: Judi 's message, "We're trying to get her allergies, whatever they are, under control. It's a chronic thing - she's licked all the fur off her abdomen and inner legs. Sad to say, I didn't even notice that until she turned up with allergies on and around her ears. I took her in for that, and the vet holds her up and says, how long has this been going on?, pointing to her tummy. Oops. At first she had to take an antibiotic along with the allergy med, and a topical antibiotic to wipe on her ears. The ears are good now, knock on wood. (more)" on 11:05:00 pm, Sat, 03/29/08
