Denise, I'm glad too that you posted Jaz's story. I had no idea how he had come to be yours but believe me, after reading this, you've really climbed up the ladder several notches in my eyes. I agree with Kate in the "you go, girl!" What you did for Jaz was nothing short of spectacular and even though he's in heaven now, I know he'll wait with all of the others for you to come and rub his belly. 8 years? Wow, I thought it was only 5. I DO remember it like it was only yesterday. I remember that I couldn't wait to meet him and was so glad when I did. I remember the little black heart on the tip of his nose. I still have pictures of him in that cast. I remember how glad I was that you took him.
