Subject: Your day sounds like it was downright crummy, weather wise. Around here, early this morning looked promising. But then the clouds rolled in and we had off and on snow showers. Thank goodness there was no accumulation but it was just a depressing day. Tomorrow is supposed to be spectacular at 50 degrees with a southerly wind and lots of sun. That should take care of the rest of our frozen slush on the ground from the weekend. But on Wednesday, another cold front comes through. Darn it all anyway. This Saturday is my day in Lenexa for the giant hookin and I so want the weather to be good.
In reply to: Denise 's message, "Morning! Well, almost noon! LOL Staying put today, no new snow but it's blowing like crazy and only 6 degrees. Lots of school closings and not fit for man nor beast out there! I had to feed the birds and squirrels and that was enough time out there! We are going to have snow forever! 5 foot drifts don't melt too fast. Supposed to be cold cold for the rest of the week so no melting will be going on any time soon. Playing with my new scanner, printer, fax...and been shopping online to pass the time. Beats housework! Have a good day everyone!" on 9:38:39 am, Mon, 02/18/08
