Subject: Yeah, I'd say you had a wild day. Sounds like all the critters are doing ok though. And your mom, wow. Hope she isn't in too much pain. Tell her I said Hi and hope she feels better! And you too! Did you have another headache free day? I hope so. Hey, I was watching old movies I had transferred to DVD and I saw you and Linda when you first came here for the first Catsmeow get together. Remember?
In reply to: Denise 's message, "I thought Reba might have thyroid issues, weight gain, hungrier than normal, shedding but thyroid was ok so we are aiming at her diet too, will add digestive enzymes to start and I've been researching dog foods lately anyway and might find one that would be better for her. I couldn't get out of the house this morning. Was supposed to be there at 8 and didn't get out of the house till then. I cut Reba's toenails and got a bleeder and couldn't make it stop. Since Bogie and Reba had to be fasting I knew Lex and Liv could wait but had to check Molly and she read LOW sugar, scared me and I couldn't leave with her low ! Thankfully I retested and got a decent number and knew she could wait to eat and have her shot too. Wasn't home 10 minutes and got a call that Mom had fallen and needed to go to the ER. She couldn't move her lft arm. I had to feed these dogs and get insulin in them so DIL took her. She broke it! ARGH!!!!! It's been a day I would rather have just skipped!" on 1:30:14 pm, Wed, 03/05/08

  • Oh my dear Denise..you really did have "one-of-those-days" didn't you? So glad to hear all your furbabies made out ok today..but sure am sorry to hear about your Mom's fall and broken arm...How old is your Mom? Please give her my best.... (NT) -- Kate, 8:04:54 pm, Wed, 03/05/08
  • Mom is 76. It's tough seeing them get older and seems she is more stubborn than a few years ago too! She's worried she won't be able to scoop snow for God's sake! Have to go down and get her kitchen cleaned up, don't know why it's such a mess....but she won't be able to do some things herself for awhile. Parents, kids, grandkids, brothers, sisters....even nieces and nephews...remind me why we all have families! ? LOL (NT) -- Denise, 6:04:39 am, Thu, 03/06/08
