I've been so lucky, Maggie will be 12 in August and this is the first time I've ever had to pill her, I've given her liquid anti-biotics but never pills....any suggestions? Dr. Lee said they have something called "pill pockets" so I'm going to buy some of them while I'm there too....Any help/ideas you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated...." on 6:43:19 pm, Thu, 03/06/08

I was hopig with Reba that is was thyroid cause it's so easily treated. The pills are small so that helps. WIth Jaz was on Lasix it was a small pill too. I out him the counter top, opened his mouth and tossed it in. He never spit one back out. He was so good! I've never tried the pill pockets and I have some cats that don't take treats so it wouldn't work for some but I think that's worth a try! Good luck!
