Subject: The crates will be plenty big enough........ MSG
In reply to: Denise 's message, "People don't care if their dogs are crated for days??? Poor dogs, More people need to plan their holidays AROUND their pets! Im glad Harley is healing. I assume Bohdi is still outdoors? The temps are at least good if he has to be out there. I think maybe you can Danny should go into business and do pet sitting...you could play with and clean up after and he could walk the big ones! So do you ever have to do the night time visits or are the dogs alone from evening till morning?" on 8:15:50 am, Thu, 12/20/07

for sleeping and having a water bowl in during the night. During the day, they can be in the play area. They are all small dogs, except for one shep mix, who will be in my extra collosal crate.... which is just as big as the kennels. We don't leave ANY of the dogs in their kennels all day. They get plenty of outside/sunshine/excersise time. They also get to spend part of the day in the play areas... often with other dogs to play with if the owner marks it's ok on their info sheet.

Bodhi is staying outside during the day, and sleeping in a crate in the kitchen at night.

I DO do some petsitting at home. I really can't do much here because of all the other kritters.... I'll only do small dogs to keep my kitties and chis safe, and because quite frankly, I don't have room for any more big dogs!! I already do enough "petsitting" with my fosters in rescue. LOL

And as for the dogs at work.... they are alone from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. We WILL spend the night for an extra $20 tho. The kennels are large enough that if the dogs have an accident during the night, they aren't having to sleep in it. Their kennels get cleaned out every morning while the dogs are outside pottying. Then they come in and have breakfast, and are let out again an hour or so later to play, etc.
