Subject: Oh, yeah! We're going out. I think that when the kids moved out and on their own, Gerry and I reverted back a bit to a younger age and started doing some of the things we didn't do because we both had kids at a young age. Oh, we're not doing anything spectacular, like going to one of the hotels and paying $200 for a night of partying with a bunch of people we don't know and then spending the night in a hotel room. Nope, not us! We're headed for Terry's, our home away from home, to get involved in the tournaments. Last New Year's Eve, we were there and ended up closing the place down, and then some, at 2:20 in the morning. By law, Terry's MUST close at 2 but our one teammate was still playing in the scotch doubles. And we were his ride home, since we rarely drink. As Rick and his partner finished his last match, we watched Terry and his staff clean tables, turn off the lights and lock up.
In reply to: Kate 's message, "No real plans here for New Year's either...we almost always stay home...I bought "March of the Penguins" so I think we are going to watch that....Sandy, you didn't say, are you and Gerry going out or anything?
I've never heard of a crockpot with three different sizes..what a great idea!!!
