Hello! Been in the basement all day, oh joy! When we had hard floor and new woodwork put in the 2 spare rooms all the "stuff" there went to the basement. I packed it but Leon hauled it and I'll be nice in saying that men (at least mine) don't think the same way as woman when it comes to stacking storage boxes. Anyway....I'm done for the day but have to go feed Zeke and Micah cause Leon is away till late so I can sit here while the others ones are outside for a few minutes. -- Piggy's Pad

Mona, I know a few people that have had lap band or (what's the other one called?) and none of them have had an easy go of it. If nothing else it's a major life style change, it doesn't "fix" the reason we over eat. It scares me and like Sandy said, it's still major surgery. Hope you have your mess cleaned up. We are having major snow melting! It's a wet soupy mess! Not as heavy a fog as we've had, coming home from church yesterday was awful! AND there were idiots without their lights on too! It's lap band not gastric. Thats entirely different, I swear. People who have gastric DO have a very hard time of it. Basically, lap band forces you to eat the small quantities that you really should be eating to begin with. My sister had hers and so did my stepdaughter and both are deliriously happy. And both have said the only pain they had was from the gas they pump in you. It is certainly better than weighing 300 pounds with sleep apnea, needing a new knee and hips and the hyperplasia I have that can very easily turn to cancer. WOW, see me defending myself? Just want you both to know I have been seriously studying this and the people who have had it done. Gastric bypass will never be for more. House cleaned up pretty good. Will repaint the bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom. It's time anyway. Well, the bathroom is new but the other rooms are ready. We got up to 60 degrees today!! We were close to 60 but we chill down again tomorrow with rain. Ramona, I think if I had your mess, I would have called Merry Maids and walked out. No way I could deal with that now. I had the full gastric bypass in 2003. The only problem I have is sometimes food gets stuck because I eat too fast.
