Subject: Kate, I hope your furnace is holding up and will make it through the weekend. What kind of furnace do you have? Do you have a boiler system or do you have a forced air system like we do? In Maine, we had baseboard electric heat and I hated that. We were always cold. But when we lived in the lighthouse, we had a hot water, radiator boiler system that was heaven. Nice, constant heat. And here, we're all natural gas forced air systems. But I'm thinking of you and hoping that you'll have heat until your service company can find you a new furnace.
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Denise, I voted for Bogie but noticed that he's a little behind. Too bad we can't vote more than once. Oh, and we're warmer because we're on the other side of the jet stream from you. We had some icing one county north of us but we've had rain all day and it even got up to 55 this afternoon, although it's been very windy and gray. And I wanted to ask..........how's your headache? Did you finally manage to get rid of it? I talked with my daughter yesterday morning and she was on day #3 of a headache and she said her Fioricet wasn't even touching the pain. I feel for you because I used to have those same darn headaches." on 6:19:05 pm, Sat, 12/01/07
