Subject: So-far-so-good Sandy for our furnace....it's been co ming on all by itself all day, and hasn't acted up since last night when Ted was here.....Just keeping our fingers and toes crossed that it keeps it up until Wednesday!! We've got gas forced air.
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Kate, I hope your furnace is holding up and will make it through the weekend. What kind of furnace do you have? Do you have a boiler system or do you have a forced air system like we do? In Maine, we had baseboard electric heat and I hated that. We were always cold. But when we lived in the lighthouse, we had a hot water, radiator boiler system that was heaven. Nice, constant heat. And here, we're all natural gas forced air systems. But I'm thinking of you and hoping that you'll have heat until your service company can find you a new furnace." on 6:22:36 pm, Sat, 12/01/07
