Subject: I hope you don't get buried in snow too badly. Our forecast was for an inch or two originally but now it's up to 5-7 inches. Ick!! Yesterday did a good job of melting a lot of the ice around here but as of last night, there were still over 9,000 in my county alone that were still in the dark and cold. I think that, at some point, Gerry and I should think about buying a generator to keep on hand should this happen again. That way, we could at least run the fridge, freezer, washer, dryer, etc. And I know they're a hassle but I'd still love to have a wood stove.
In reply to: Ramona 's message, "Hi guys! The ice finally made it's way over to us. Not so bad though. But, we are expecting a Nor'easter tomorrow night. Didn't check the weather yet to see if it is still expected, so we'll see. I have off today and need to take my mom all over the place so I'll be busy. I'll try to get back later. Hope you are are ok and doing well!!" on 6:06:43 am, Fri, 12/14/07

  • Hope you don't get too much snow! Heard it could be bad in some areas out that way. I say "no more snow till the ice is gone!" Have fun with your mom on your day off! (NT) -- D, 1:39:30 pm, Fri, 12/14/07
