Subject: Hi guys! SO BUSY!!!!! I've been making ..........................

brochures, business cards and newsletters for this No-Kill initiative and we have a big meeting tomorrow night. I'm excited because I love doing this computer design. The things I designed are really nice and I am very proud of myself!! So anyway, been tied up and not having enough time as usual. After the meeting though, I should be around much more. I'm a bit nervous though because our no-kill movement meeting is at the same hotel, same day, same time as the Lehigh County Humane Society. See, they are celebrating their 100 year anniversary tomorrow. They refuse our offers of help and information on how to become non-kill. So, our meeting, along with lots of information is going to occur at the same place, in fact right next door to them. Hope there is no fight, not looking for one but just want to inform their sponsors of what we have been trying to educate them with and their refusal to even try. Plus, they are sitting on 4 million dollars in donations and doing nothing with it except begging for more money while killing 90% of the critters in their care. Ok, sorry to rant, but thats what I have been doing. PLus, just found out I have severe arthritis and bone spurs in my knee. Have to go to an orthopedic surgeon - UH OH!

Best of luck with the meeting, hon! When do you go see the surgeon? {{HUGS}} for you. I'm currently have my right hand/wrist in a brace because of arthritis/tendonitis. Makes typing difficult... makes my job even more difficult! Of course, my new job is probably what exacerbated the pain I already deal with day to day. Hurt so bad I thought my wrist was broken!! I hope your big meeting goes well. Seems to me that Lehigh County should be more than happy to accept the help and information you're trying to give them. It's better for everyone and best of all, it would save all of those lives. I'm also glad you've found your niche in designing and making all of the brochures.etc. for this initiative. Way to go, Ramona!! As for your knee, ouchie!! Getting older is certainly the pits, especially when we're all blessed with arthritis. I just hope you can find more help than I have. Hello! Sitting on 4 million??? Nuh uh!!! That's cruel and stupid to say the least! Our local shelter got a new director and within 2 weeks they let her go cause she was trying to make changes! I am not going to support them anymore if they aren't willing to change to help animals better. Sorry about your knee. Maybe they will be able to go in with a scope and just clean it up.
