I could sympathize with you...EXCEPT we are in such need of water it's unbelieveable...I've never seen things so dry and we are being asked to conserve water...restaurants are not serving water unless specifically requested and, of course, the obvious, no watering lawns or washing cars at home....(unless you are my "dear neighbor" of course..that doesn't apply to HER just to all the "little people" in St. Marys).... -- Piggy's Pad

On Sunday she and Chuck washed her car and his truck...then yesterday Chuck got out the power washer again and did Jami's car......they have absolutely no regard for anyone but t hemselves.....I'm hoping someone turned them in....cause I was told the other day that people will start being fined for watering lawns and washing vehicles...... I think *I'd* turn them in. Since you're under water conservation rules, it has to apply to everyone to work. But I didn't realize that you were that dry, Kate. I watch The Weather Channel quite often and of course, we all know how dry it is in Alabama, Georgie, North and South Carolina and Tennessee. But I hadn't heard them mention western PA. We've had double what we usually get for October and I send some your way Kate, if I could. We've had plenty this year and now it's just keeping the farmers out of the fields. We are supposed to have a mild winter so maybe we will be happy in a few months that we got all this but it sure makes it hard to enjoy autumn! I can't remember when we had a substantial rainfall .....Our water reservoir is down 13.4 feet below it's usual level and I forget how fast they say it's dropping every day.....they keep calling for rain, but unfortunately as soon as it starts to get here it hits the mountains and breaks up and we get nothing!!
