Still feeling one step "below" roadkill. This is one nasty cold and of course, it's gone into bronchitis. The Mucinex helps but more than anything, I just want to rest. Gerry's had to take over all of the work around here because I just can't do it. But I made it down the basement steps this morning to check the computer and post. The problem is getting back UPstairs. No pool tonight for me, since I'm staying home to rest but also............if I were to see the guy who gave this crud to me, I'd take him out. I mean, for heaven's sake...........if you're sick, STAY HOME. No job, or pool playing, is that important that you have to be out and infect everyone else. -- Piggy's Pad

On the plus side, it's a beautiful day with no clouds and a good stiff south wind. Headed for 76 today and even tomorrow, after the passage of a dry cold front, is supposed to hit 62. I've been really lucky and haven't even had a cold in over 3 years but, being a smoker, the minute I get one, I get the bronchitis with it. Last time, believe it or not, I actually broke ribs with the coughing and my entire midriff was black, blue and purple. But now, I've found that if I take the time to steam myself, it helps a bunch. Roadkill Sandy? You have some really colorful ways of explaining things, LOL!!!! It's fun reading your posts! Sorry you feel crappy though. I feel crappy too. I swear I am a hypochondriac. Or maybe I just need a slap in the face. Or maybe, I could go back to being young again..................in my dreams. And yes, I agree. I get so mad when people spread their germs all around. They think they get sympathy or will look like a martyr for going to work sick and it makes me so mad. All they do is give it to everyone. It is such a pet peeve of mine.
