Happy Halloween!!! What a beautiful day. The sun's out and boy, is it ever windy! We had some fierce south winds last night but that cold front came through about 7 a.m. and turned the wind around from the north. Granted, it's cooler but hey, it's the official end of October. I called Travis before he went to school to sing Happy Birthday to him and we'll see him for a little bit tonight. His family party won't be until this weekend. I'm finally feeling like I'm going to survive this crud and now just have to deal with the cough. Unfortunately, Gerry's now come down with it. When he got home from pool last night, he said that half the people up there were coughing and sniffling so it's a good thing I stayed home. Hey, Happy Halloween back at ya! And a very happy birthday to Travis!! We don't get trick or treaters here because we are to close to the road with no sidewalks or even shoulder. Thanks, Ramona. I'm trying to rest but darn it all anyway, every time I start to doze off, I start to cough. But I *am* looking forward to tonight. We have 2 very large bags of candy to give out. I hope we manage to get rid of most of the candy but we never know how many kids we're going to get......one year, we got over 90 and the next year, we had 30 something.
