Subject: Crystal, I'd love to see your pictures. There's a house in our neighborhood that has shutters on the lower half of the windows only, like you, but they have a valance. To me, in my house, at least, that's just another term for a dust-catcher. I love to have the windows open and the whole house fan on but it does tend to make things a bit dusty. I've given shutters a good deal of thought because they're pretty much indestructible with cats. And for me, as I'm sure it is for most of you, if it can't stand up to the cats, it doesn't come in the door.
In reply to: Sasha's Mom (Crystal, Kiki, Bobbi and Sasha (Rainbow angel) 's message, "Sandy, I have wooden shutters in the lower half of my living room windows. They block enough so people can't see in, but also let in plenty of light. I'll try to get a pic of them and post it." on 3:05:02 pm, Wed, 11/07/07
