Subject: Do you believe in miracles????? MSG

Well I certainly do!

Dad was taken from ICU and put in a regular room on the cardiac floor today. He's alert, talking, throwing out insults, flirting with nurses.... When we give him a drink of water, we have to duck cuz he'll spit it back out at us and laugh! The doctor came in while we were there this evening and said he is a TRUE MIRACLE! NOBODY thought he'd make it, much less be doing so well!

We know he's not out of the woods. He STILL has stage 4 cancer, still has congestive heart disease and an aortic valve stenosis which need surgery. He's still in renal failure, still has high blood pressure, still has diabetes....... None of these have changed...... But he's pulled thru the acute crisis that almost killed him and MAY just get to go home! Our big concern now is him having another heart attack because of the stenosis. He starts some physical therapy tomorrow so they can get him walking again.... and hopefully home for whatever time has left with us!

He has shown a remarkable will to live and more strength than any of us imagined. I firmly believe all the prayers he's been getting played a major part in his still being with us!!!

Our biggest hope is he can make it thru Christmas........
