Please say a prayer for Jazpurr. His breathing isn't right again. (he stayed several days at the vet a few months ago). I really didn't want to take him to the vets cause no one is around full time on the weekends anyway so I called the vet and asked if I could start Lasix. So, he is feeling OK, just the breathing thing but I don't know if he will get worse over night! I will take him in in the a.m. but I just pray he has a comfortable night and isn't in need of a stay over at TED! -- Piggy's Pad

Denise, how's Jazpurr doing today? By now, you should have made it to the vet's office and back home again. I sure hope you made it through the night without having to make any emergency runs. He has congestion....what ever that means....I asked that they keep him today for observation and went back at 4 and picked him up. They had given 2 Lasix shots and started antibiotics. I was worried he would get worse quickly and if he was there for awhile they would see what was happening. They didn't prescribe Lasix so need to call tomorrow and tale to the vet. When I was there to get him it was a madhouse! He peed on himself on the way home, poor guy! I had some cat wipes and cleaned him up, he wasn't too fond of that even though he is one that loves belly rubs! Thanks for your prayers. I'll just be keeping an eye on him! Congestion? But from what? And why? THats weird. That poor little guy. There must be something with the black and white kitties because my Ben is at it again too. I'll explain in a new post. I do hope little Jazzy is ok and isn't suffering from anything serious. Poor boy has had a rough start and shouldn't have to deal with anymore crap. PLease keep us posted ok? I don't know what is causing this. All I can think of is that's it an allergic reaction, maybe the stuff in the air from corn and bean harvest? When Bubs gets his cough I can relate it to something being done in the house creating dust or spring when the windows are open but I can't figure it out with Jazz. Poor guy is leary of me, scared I'll haul him away again but will come to me when I'm sitting down! He is so easy to pill! I'm thankful!
