Subject: You and me both, Crystal. This will be Biscuit's first Christmas and we're already sweating the tree thing. Other than wrapping the tree in barbed wire and attaching it to the ceiling, I don't know of any way to keep a determined cat out of and away from the tree. The year Emme was new to us, we got a small 4 ft. tree that we locked in the spare room at night. But last year, surprisingly, nobody seemed that interested in the tree. We do keep any/all ornaments off of the lower 1/3 of the tree but that's about it.
