Subject: Could I please ask for some prayers for my son's cat, Chicory? Chicory was a stray that I originally brought into the house.........after a trip to the vet, of course. He'd been hanging around the house for about 4 days and I finally got him into a carrier and off we went. Well, since shortly after Ken got married, Chicory has lived with Ken, since he's always preferred Ken over everyone else. But now he's got something neurological going on and is acting like he can't really feel or control his rear legs. According to our best guesstimate, Chicory is about 17 years old.
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Happy Tuesday!!! Another day where I've got the windows open already. It's cloudy and very windy but we never dropped below 63 last night. And this was after tying our record high yesterday of 79. I'll tell ya...........it was gorgeous!!! Sunny, windy and so very warm. By late this afternoon, that dratted cold front will come through, dropping us down to the mid 30's for tonight but tomorrow, we won't warm up above 40 or so. What a shock that will be!! We've gotten spoiled by fantastic weather and now it's time for reality and normal temps. I'm getting myself mentally geared up for Thanksgiving - - - - - I swear, I can already smell that turkey. Have a great day, everyone!" on 5:38:35 am, Tue, 11/20/07
