Not sure, but you might have heard about the murder suicide by the cop/sheriff in Bethlehem Pa. I see it made national news for some reason, but it was the daughter of a friend of mine. I also work with her sister. A horrible horrible tragedy. More spouse abuse. Anyway, I found this poem I love it! Come inside to read it and read the whole thing! Is this not perfect? Especially for pet loss. I am sending it to Claudia. She is still having trouble over losing FiFi and now our next door neighbors cat Tasha has died too. She is the one I babysat for several times a year. She was 16. At least she had more years than FiFi who was only 3.

I love this poem, Ramona, and you're right in that it's perfect for loss, but especially pet loss. I'm sorry to hear that Claudia is still having problems with her grief over FiFi. Everyone grieves differently and for some, it can take a long time. Give her a hug for me because I truly know what it's like to lose several people/cats very close together in time but still manage to come out fighting on the other side.
