Subject: Glad your co-worker has finally come around and "saw the light" Ramona...good for you for educating him!!!
I'm with Sandy, the constant licking that Bob is doing is probably stress related..I'd be making a trip to the Vet ASAP....Glad Ben is doing ok....
and have fun kitty-sitting!!
In reply to: Ramona 's message, "Got a nice surprise at work. My ex-cubie buddy Paul, told me he saw 2 dead kittens on the road, and I'm like, DON'T TELL ME THAT! Then he said, but it made me sad, very sad, and I was sad all day about it. Might be a small thing, but to me it's huge! He was never much of an animal person at all. But, it seems I might have rubbed off on him a bit, so it was actually nice to hear that it upset him. And it was his birthday today so to be upset on your birthday over this MADE MY DAY! I hope you all understand what I mean because if I said something like that to a non-cat person, they'd think I was an a$$. My next door neighbor who lost Tasha, got 2 new kitties and I am in love already!!! I can't wait to kittysit! I have tons of pics so I will post them later. Ben is doing ok, but he was a little whiney this morning so I am on the look out again. And Claudia's kitty Bob, is licking all the fur off of his tail and belly. Constant licking. Anyone know what that might be?" on 2:45:00 pm, Thu, 09/27/07

  • I'm glad you were able to turn Paul into a more compassionate person!! Good for you! As for the licking..... I had a cat that was doing it, and thought it was stress. Turned out to be food allergies!! Riley would lick his stomach and inside of his thighs RAW! I switched foods, and his fur grew in so soft and silky, and he quit the obsessive grooming! You might check into that. Give Ben a kiss for me. (NT) -- V~, 2:14:41 pm, Fri, 09/28/07
