Subject: I do hope they can get his red cell count up again. Are they going to use that injectible medication? Shoot, I can't remember the name of it right now. My girlfriend, Janet, had that injection and it made her so incredibly sick for 3 days. She said the chemo was a breeze next to that shot. But I hope they can find a regimen of something that will work for him and give him more time. Prayers and a comforting hug to all of you for going through this.
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "I would have thought that they would have stayed on top of things, especially since this was their retirement home, but there was so much *stuff.* And the attic was full. Explain to me, please, why someone would keep a lawnmower engine? Not the entire mower, just the engine. I guess Dad felt that he'd get to it "one day" but as we all know, one day almost never comes. A person has to be realistic. That's part of the reason why I've become almost obsessed with minimalism. I never want to put my kids through that. As it is, there will still be plenty of stuff for them to take care of." on 10:12:12 am, Sat, 09/29/07
