Subject: Sounds a lot like here. I do like the 4 season, I just wish we had some green a bit longer. I'd hate to be so far away from the ocean too. And I do love snow. I never used too, it is somewhat recent I decided I really loved it. I like that where we live, we actually get marooned every now and then. It is so peaceful and quiet and really beautiful. Fall used to be my favorite but it is starting to depress me lately. Well, maybe I'll win the lotto and can afford to have houses all over the country, LOL!!
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "And as much as I love the ocean, I also love the Flint Hills. Picture in your mind an Indian on a painted pony, riding over the swells of the land. When we drive the 2 hours between Topeka and Wichita on I-35, I love to look at the scenery because you can just "see" the Indians riding across the plains." on 11:03:50 am, Thu, 10/11/07
