  • Hi, Kate. Yep, Janet's wedding is on September 8th. To the best of my knowledge, everything is planned out, she's got her dress and hat, the cake's been ordered and all is going according to plan. I had told her that I wanted to supply her with her garter but couldn't find one that I liked. But her wedding is totally Western themed, all the way down to her bright purple cowboy boots that she's wearing, so I special ordered her a lavender and white garter. I hope she likes it. The other co-matron and I are both wearing matching lavender and white summer weight sweaters and slacks, which Janet helped us pick out. She wants her wedding to be very informal........jeans, boots and cowboy hats are the requested dress. Should be a lot of fun. I hope you had a great time at your surprise anniversary party last night. How time flies, huh? I can't believe that Gerry and I have been married for 23 1/2 years already.
