Subject: We're without A/C again!!!!!!

We had a HUGE storm blow thru last night. Took down trees all over the place around town. We lost power ALL night, and it got SOOO hot in here that I got sick. I spent part of the night sitting in my truck cuz at least it was a tad cooler than in the house.

Power was restored this morning, but the compressor on our new A/C unit died...... maybe it drowned as we got quite a bit of rain, and nothing in Yuma knows what to do when it gets wet. ::)

So....... we've been mid 90's in the house with close to 100% humidity..... but at least now we can run some fans.

I called around looking for a hotel........ but it's Dove Season here, and everyone is booked!

Looks like my neighbor's A/C bit the dust too, cuz she has her doors open trying to get some air as well.

It may be Tuesday before we can get any help here......... so could use some more cooling thoughts! :-/
