Subject: Happy Birthday to Punkie and Cinnamon!! I was busy most of the day working on a transport for Boxer pup who was very neglected... he had mange and his owners never took him to the vet, so it got all infected. He looks like somebody burned all the skin off his face! Finally got him up to Phoenix and to one of my rescue partners who has an awesome vet who just pulled a Dane pup thru with the same condition. Just finished feeding and watering the birds and changing out the litter boxes. Going to kick back and watch a movie! Hope your dinner was lovely!

I'm almost done with the paper and we've had our normal Sunday breakfast. Next, it's time to pad off to the bathroom and take a good, long, relaxing soak before we start the madness of Punkie's birthday dinner. The steaks are thawing and the potatoes have been picked out. And we didn't forget Cinnamon. He got extra attention this morning, even sitting on Dad's lap for a time while Dad was reading the paper. He seemed to know that today was something special because he was very "needy" today --- wanting lots of attention and stroking.
