Good grief, Vicki. I would have been sick from that heat too. I get the same headache, especially if I try to sleep in the heat and humidity, and if you can't eat, well, you're wiped out. How's your back today? Now THAT'S not a good thing to have happen to you when you're trying to sit at the computer!! And your feet? Darn it all to Snickers! He's got to learn not to take off down the sidewalk when Mom has no shoes on and the pavement's hot enough to blister feet. You just had a horrible day all the way 'round! In reply to: V~ 's message, "We are FINALLY cool! They had to come back out for a couple hours today to finish the job. I about died yesterday......... It got to over 100 in the house, my computer chair broke and sent me crashing and I wrenched my back... I was taking dogs out front to walk in the sprinklers to help everyone cool off, and my little Snickers snuck out the door and took off. I got blisters on my feet cuz I had to go after him and was barefoot.... Was NOT a good day yesterday! We are finally cooling tho...... We haven't gotten the bill yet, and I'm hoping they don't get it tallied for a couple months. LOL I got SO sick from the heat yesterday.... and I couldn't eat, which triggers my migraines...
