Subject: Actually you do have a point about the little pellets that rolled around..that is what the old Hills for Senior looked like and as you said, she scarfed it down usually too quickly and then threw it back up whole a lot of the times.......but as you said she loved it....The new Hills is more triangle shaped and is a bit larger, she definitely has to work to chew it and can't swallow it whole so that may help slow her down in her eating too...
In reply to: Denise 's message, "Years ago I fed SD Lite. That was way back when Iams and SD were THEE premium foods. I hated the shape of the food, little pellets that rolled all over but the cats scarfed it, no one chewed it, just swallowed! Several threw it back up too! When I changed food it took forever to get them all to eat one food but found the Royal Canin Special. It's neat cause there are four kibble shapes (mine don't seem to like the disk shape). I fed that for 8 years but then wanted to cut carbs and the company was bought out and the new people added more grain anyway. I have no clue where I was going with all that, it's bedtime! LOL Glad she ate and hope whatever it was is over and you can stop worrying!" on 9:11:53 pm, Tue, 07/24/07
