Cush meds is Cushings. Bogie has atypical Cushings. Lysodren is a chemo drug used to damage the adrenal gland to cause it to not produce so much cortisol, that's is what normal Cushings is. Atypical is when there is also extra sex hormones produced by the adrenal gland. This drus is nasty and Bogie was so sick. -- Piggy's Pad

I remember when I FINALLY found out that Sam had Cushings...my old vet did tell me that sometimes the meds to treat it were actually worse than the disease itself....but I still wish he would've given me the chance to decide that for myself.....oh well, water under the bridge by now, but, as you can tell, I'll never forgive him for his treatment (or should I say "non-treatment") of Sam and my concerns....
