Subject: Cush meds is Cushings. Bogie has atypical Cushings. Lysodren is a chemo drug used to damage the adrenal gland to cause it to not produce so much cortisol, that's is what normal Cushings is. Atypical is when there is also extra sex hormones produced by the adrenal gland. This drus is nasty and Bogie was so sick.
In reply to: Kate 's message, "Denise, by "Cush" meds, do you mean meds for Cushings Disease? And you also mentioned Chemo drugs...am I understanding things right, is Cushings Disease a form of cancer? Or am I reading something altogether wrong in this whole post..which wouldn't be the first time!!!!" on 10:08:25 am, Fri, 07/27/07
