Subject: Amen. *throws roses at Sushi*

I couldn't agree more. Several weeks ago I saw two boys about 10 years old walking along holding hands. Boys. 10 years old. That's way too frigging early!
I'm with Sushi. I'd rather tolerate brats and temper tantrums than to walk along with a 6 year old who knows more about the body of a member of the opposite sex than I do! Gee whiz, this is nuts!
My parents married when they were 18 or 19. My grandparents married when they were 17 and 19 (or close to it). I have no problem with that because I know that the surroundings in which they grew up were better than the ones we live in today. And look at my (grand)parents now! Still married to their only spouse and happy about it. Sheesh, my grandparents on my mom's side still play footsie and say things like 'I want to sit in the backseat with him/her so we can smooch.'
That, my friends, is the way marriage should be.

Come to think of it... I have (I agree with Sushi but I use this term to get my point across) a boyfriend. He loves me unconditionally, he comforts me when I'm lonely, it's a rare night when I don't wake up with him in the morning, and he knows just when I need him for a pick-me-up. We talk every day and night and I share my meals with him.
He's got long red hair, two of the most gorgeous golden eyes I've seen, and a long bushy tail.
My boyfriend, my heart-friend, is my cat Denver. There's unconditional love right there. In fact, I have more than one boyfriend. I have Denver, my amazing Mowgli, my shy miracle-cat Cougar, my odd-defying Cookies, and the $40 dog that I shared his doghouse with, Brownie.
Each of those guys I'd give my right arm for. And I know that they'd give their right ear for me.

That is unconditional, true, and everlasting love. Love that is hard to find in the real world but available at the outstretching of an arm to search for a soft coat of fur to pet. Love is but a purr away, and if I never find a human to share my bed with, I'll gladly share it with a cat.
