Feeling her breath on his skin taunted the peach fuzz at the nape of his neck to perk up on end. Glancing back at her with an accusing expression, his tone mocked annoyance when he spoke. "Hey... No doing that. You're exactly like a kid, y'know?" With a bit of a maddening grin, he added, "Worse 'en my little cousins, Tex..." Shaking his head, he faced forwards 'gain just in time to notice that the Parlour's steps were less then a metre 'way from his Timberland boots. With a bit of a choking noise, he halted and gently lowered Tex -- in all of her light weight-ness -- down to the ground. With a stubborn expression reflecting within those clear hazel eyes of his, he mumbled, "I'm paying... Don't argue... I called it first. 'Sides, I don't really care about what they think... I never have, and never really will." With those words, he gives a bit of a shrug, 'fore jamming his broad hands back into the pockets of his varsity jacket. Friends? Who really needed them? In truth; not Liam.
