The satyr's head swam as his eyes slowly rolled open, the voice floating in his ears so very much like his sweet Aiki... and yet not, as the stars in his vision cleared, the fox sitting lightly on his chest. The look of worry and concern was etched on the spirit's face.

He could feel the wounds had closed at least, but there was still wounds within his body, as evident from the pain every breath brought him. For a moment he simply waited, letting the blackness and fog clear from his head as he let his senses inform him of what he suddenly knew to be truth. Baron Edo was a prisoner, and the katana that his family had carried for centuries was missing.

~Of course it is missing, fool... you were not strong enough to continue, and too weak to die.~

Restraining the wince that drawing in breath brought him, the samurai's eyes met the spirit's, his voice soft in Japanese and respectful. "Greetings, Honored Spirit..."
