As Ikari drifts back to consciousness like a bubble rising to the surface of a pool, he sees a vision.

Above him, like sparkling snow illuminated by candlelight, is the white face of a fox. But this could not possibly be an ordinary animal- the nose is too pointed, the features delicate, ears high and tapered. Pale pink eyes swirl like mist, and the fur of the creature he sees is too soft. When it speaks, a gentle female voice caresses him.

Irasshaimase, Sempai.

As we wakes, he realizes this fox spirit is sitting on his chest, which is by now fully healed, even if he still feels like hell.

OOC: For Ikari, the translation:
Shhhh.... oh, this is bad. You are as beautiful as a spring cherry blossom... Stop it! Enough! May I ask you your name? Welcome, elder/respected superior.

For Ratling: She sees the crowd of strange creatures step aside for Matsu, who looks curious, alarmed, and concerned for the man lying in the cage next to Ratling. She looks a little different than before, less cute, and she doesn't address that Ratling's in the room. She climbs on Ikari's chest, and says just what was detailed above.

I'm trying to meld you all into the same scene, so from here on out, the both of you are involved, so post to everyone.
