Needing some technical expertise on nitrous. I have a 388 stroker all forged rotating assembly, aluminum heads at roughly 10.5:1 comp. ratio. All ARP bolts with stud girdles. I have a plate kit i've been thinking of putting on this motor. Is it to high of compression? If i can run it how big of a shot could i go?

Is your crankshaft is 4340,what rods and what pistons? Most forged pistons can handle up to 300.But if there the higher grade you could throw more at it.

The rotating assembly is an all eagle competition forged rotating assembly. 4340 crank, H beam rods. I was only planning on putting a 200 shot on it may be 250 at the most. Its a pump gas motor in my little pick up. With that high of compression i was thinking i would need to run racing fuel from a separate tank for the nitrous kit or would i be able to get away with pump gas on the kit as well? Also the safe "rule of thumb" is pull 2 degrees for every 50 hp. With the higher compression would i need to pull more? I've only messed with nitrous kits on lower compression motors i just wasn't sure how high of compression you could run it on. Thanks for the help Jay!

Done it for years! On 93 octane in tank and 118 Iin the kit cell.

MATTHEW BROOKS STEVENS

On September 12, 2015, my 19 year old son, Matthew Brooks Stevens was walking along Hwy 59 in Neosho, MO when he was hit and killed. The man who hit my son left him dead in the middle of the highway and fled the scene. Two weeks later with an attorney, he turned himself in to authorities.

In the State of Missouri, if you leave the scene of an accident, the maximum penalty is a Felony which carries a sentence of 4 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. That's it. There's no suspension or revocation of a Driver's License. And if the accident involves a pedestrian, you have to prove another crime was being committed at the time of the accident (i.e. Driving while Intoxicated) before charges can be increased to manslaughter if the accident resulted in a death. This needs to change!!!

For people who kill others with their vehicle and then flee the accident, there needs to be stiffer penalties! I am advocating for change. I'm proposing mandatory sentences, higher fines and a minimum 3-5 year suspension or revocation of licenses. There are other states around Missouri who have modified their laws on Hit & Run to include the very punishments that I just described, yet Missouri has done nothing to create change. Please help me send a clear message to our legislators that our loved ones are more valuable than a $5,000 fine! Thank you for your support!

I just had a 30X50X15 pole barn done. also has 12' shed/roof down both 50' sides. 5.5" concrete inside and 4" under the sheds.

If you can get a 30X50X14 with concrete for $14K you better get it now! and maybe even 2 or 3 of them. That is extremely cheap. Depending on materials of course.

If you are talking about one of those cheap carport looking things from the side of the road that they put tin on and call a barn, then $14K isn't such a good deal. You get what you pay for.

30x50x10 for $16,900 and that includes all the concrete with 3/8" rebar.

Gonna have them build me(in about 1.5 years) a 40'x40' with two 10' doors in front, one 8' door in back for air circulation, and one side entry door. My quote a little while back was $23,050 for this one fully insulated, all concrete and rebar, plus your choice of metal colors.

JB spray some carb cleaner in the trottle body and see if it will try to start. If it does start then listen to your fuel pump relay under the hood and see if it clicks like for 5 to 8 seconds. If that works then listen to see if your fuel pump turns on when you turn the key on. If it doesn't then it could be your pump. Some have a fuel filter outside of the tank and the newer ones have them in the tank (not all). the best way to replace the pump is to take the bed off. Also check for 12 volts going to the pump.Hope this helps. I can explain better if you call. 281-364-7068

Go to your parts house and buy this tool to bleed your system
Part No. OTC7853. Its called "OTC Proportioning Valve Depressor for ABS Brake Systems" It's the only way you can properly take the air out. The newer models you have to use a scan tool

Don't recall it coming with instructions but it might. I tried to find a link to post that would show you how to use it but couldn't find any. Not sure where you are located. I'm in Conroe. Try to stop at a reputable shop around your area and ask them to show you how to use it. If they won't show you call me tomorrow at 281-364-7068. I will be in and out but will return your call so leave a message if i miss it.

That helped a lot. Don't think I need to center the switch, just need to hold it open to keep the constant flow. Am I correct.
Thanks again for your help. Hard to find anything on this. This must not happen very often.

I had the same problem with a 92 GMC 1500 and a 93 Chevy 1500 and it ended up being the ABS Hydraulic Control Unit (valve with 2 cylinders on it next to the master cylinder). The "dump" valve was leaking internally causing the pressure to be leaked into the accumulator rather than going to the rear brakes. It felt just like a bad master... I isolated it by bypassing the valve. I took the fittings out of the back of the HCU and plugged it directly into the master cylinder.

in the 90s gm used what they called a quick fill master cylinder. You can tell it from other models by looking at the round part of the master cylinder housing. It will be one size from the front going back to the booster. When it gets close to the booster the diameter of the master cylinder increases. The size is stepped up to a larger piston area about an inch or so from the mounting flange. These master cylinders are notorious for having problems bleeding them. What works well is to pump the pedal up and bleed one wheel. Just open the bleeder then close the bleeder valve. Let off the brake pedal and stay off it and count to 25 before you pump it again. Do this every time you open the bleeder in the rear. It takes awhile but works every time. What is happening is when you bleed it it will give one squirt and then nothing else comes out because the hole where the fluid comes from the reservoir into the piston area of the mc is small and it takes about 20 seconds to refill the piston. This procedure is only required for the rear cylinders.Try it and I think you will find it works. Remember 25 seconds between each time you press the brake pedal down to give it enough time for the piston to refill with fluid.

That same truck had 2 different part numbers for the pads that if you chose the wrong #, the piston would contact the pins on the pads, cocking the piston, creating a spongie pedal.
Just an FYI

After his plane was hit and he was forced to eject, the Marine Corps fighter pilot finally regained consciousness.

He was in a hospital, in agonizing pain.

He found himself in the ICU with tubes in his mouth, IV drips in both
arms, a breathing mask, wires monitoring every function — and an
absolutely stunning, gorgeous and sexy nurse hovering over him, looking
worried.

He realized he was in a life-threatening situation.

The nurse gave him a serious look, straight into his eyes. Knowing he
was not only a fighter pilot, but a Marine, she spoke to him softly and
slowly, enunciating each word: "You may not feel anything from the
waist down."

Somehow he managed to mumble in reply, “Can I feel your tits, then?"

And that, my friends, is a real positive attitude.

LeRoy best thing to do is have it scanned at a shop and that will take the guessing out. Check your front hub bearings for any slack or play. They are a common problem going out and effects your ABS which will also turn on your traction control light on. Check them up and down like you check for a bad ball joint. Hope this helps

If you find a code for EBCM power relay Gm wants you to replace the abs module. Usually cost well over $1000. and module has to be reprogrammed. There is a place called my airbags.com in Georgia that will fix the module for under $100. Take the electronic module off the motor/hydraulic unit (it just unbolts) do NOT take any brake lines off, the module will come off separate, box it up, ship it to them and in just a few days they will fix it and send it back with a lifetime warranty on their work. No reprogramming is necessary. We do these all the time and this seems to be the best and least expensive fix. IF it has the power relay code. We have used these guys many many times. You have to have the codes run because it may just be a wheel speed sensor.

I have a 850 CSU carb setup for Na or NOS I need a 1050 dominator willing to trade it off if someone is in need of a bad azz 850Dp. I only used it 1 on a street engine and it was too much for now I need a larger carb. I have a lot of money invested in the carb and just don't want to speed the money on a new one right now
